Introducing the 2026 Sherlock Referral Program

Refer protocol teams to Sherlock for audits or Sherlock AI. Get paid for qualified referrals, with a limited-time lifecycle bonus.

Security decisions in Web3 rarely happen in isolation. Teams lean on people they trust: builders, founders, auditors, ecosystem operators, infra providers, and others who’ve been close to enough launches to know what matters. Those introductions shape which vendors get evaluated and who ends up securing code when the stakes are real.

The 2026 Sherlock Referral Program is simple: if you introduce a protocol team to Sherlock and it results in a qualified purchase, we pay you a fixed referral fee. Clear terms, clear payouts, and a straightforward submission path.

This post covers the program details, qualification rules, and how to get started.

What this program is

The Sherlock Referral Program is a paid referral program for protocol security work. When you refer a team to Sherlock and that team purchases an audit engagement or a Sherlock AI subscription, Sherlock pays you a referral fee for that qualified referral.

Sherlock runs the sales and delivery process. You don’t need to sell Sherlock. The program exists to reward clean introductions that lead to real purchases.

Who the program is for

Anyone connected to Web3 teams who wants to earn money by helping Sherlock grow can participate. There is no barrier to entry.

If you know protocol teams and you can make direct introductions, you can use the program.

Referral fees

For qualified referrals, Sherlock pays fixed fees:

Audit referrals: $2,000 per qualified referral

Sherlock AI referrals: $1,200 per qualified referral

Lifecycle bonus (limited-time)

For the first month of the program, we’re offering a Lifecycle Bonus:

If you refer a team that purchases both an audit and a Sherlock AI subscription, Sherlock will pay an additional $1,000 for that qualified referral.

This bonus applies only to audit + Sherlock AI purchases during the launch period.

How to submit a referral

The main page for the program (terms + referral submissions) can be found here.

That page is the system of record for referrals and attribution. If you want to start with a quick conversation first, that’s fine — but submit the referral through the page so it’s properly recorded.

What counts as a qualified referral

A referral is considered qualified if all of the following are true:

  • The referred team is not already in an active sales process with Sherlock at the time the referral is submitted.
  • The referral is recorded through the referral page, or the introduction is made in a thread that includes Sherlock.
  • The referred team completes a purchase within the attribution window.

This program is meant for direct referrals where the team is expecting outreach. Don’t submit teams as a surprise or as cold spam.

Attribution window

Referrals remain eligible for 180 days from the date they are submitted.

If the referred team purchases within that window, the referral is eligible for payout, assuming the qualification requirements are met.

Payout timing

Referral fees are paid after the customer’s payment is received and cleared by Sherlock.

If a customer payment is refunded, reversed, or charged back, the associated referral payout may be reversed or offset.

Program integrity and terms

Sherlock attributes referrals to the first qualified submission on record. We may decline referrals that involve misrepresentation, spam, low-integrity outreach, or attempts to game attribution. We may also update, suspend, or end the program terms (including fees and eligibility rules) at any time.

Participation in the program does not create any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship. Participants are responsible for any taxes, reporting, and compliance obligations associated with referral payouts.

Referrer resources

We have short resources available to help referrers explain Sherlock’s offerings and make clean referrals (intro copy, what to recommend when, and quick positioning for audits vs Sherlock AI).
