Sherlock Referral Program
Sherlock offers a formal referral program for teams and individuals who advise protocols on security. Successful referrals earn $2,000 for qualified audit referrals and $1,200 for qualified Sherlock AI referrals.

The Sherlock Referral Program is designed for trusted operators in the ecosystem who regularly introduce protocol teams to security vendors and services. Sherlock runs the sales and delivery process. Referrers are compensated when referred teams purchase.

- Sherlock takes point on evaluation, scoping, and contracting.
- You get paid when the customer pays Sherlock.
Audits: Referrers earn $2,000 for each qualified audit referral.
Sherlock AI: Referrers earn $1,200 for each qualified Sherlock AI referral.
Lifecycle bonus: Referrers earn an extra $1,000 when a referred team purchases an Audit + Sherlock AI (and/or activates Shield / bug bounty) within the attribution window.
The referred team is not already in an active sales process with Sherlock at the time of submission.
The referral is submitted through the program form (or via an intro thread that includes Sherlock).
The team purchases within the attribution window.
Program integrity
Sherlock attributes referrals to the first qualified submission on record. Sherlock may decline referrals that involve spam, misrepresentation, or low-integrity outreach. If a customer payment is refunded or reversed, the associated referral payout may be reversed or offset.
To get attributed correctly:
Submit the referral before the team is already in an active sales process with Sherlock.
Use the team’s primary point of contact and accurate handles.
Submit only when the team expects outreach from Sherlock.
Referrals remain eligible for 180 days from submission.

Participation in the Sherlock Referral Program is voluntary and subject to Sherlock’s approval and sole discretion. Referral payouts are offered only for qualified referrals, as defined in the program terms, and are calculated on amounts actually received and cleared by Sherlock (net of refunds, chargebacks, reversals, credits, or payment disputes). Sherlock may decline, revoke, or reattribute a referral where a submission is incomplete, duplicative, involves spam or misrepresentation, the referred party is already in an active sales process, or the referral otherwise fails to meet qualification requirements. Referral payouts do not create any partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship, and participants are responsible for all taxes, reporting, and compliance obligations associated with any payout. Sherlock may update, suspend, or terminate the program or its terms at any time, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of the then-current terms.
